The City of Fort Myers, in agreement
with the Florida Department of Transportation,
sucessfully completed the rebuild of
Old Metro Parkway from Hanson Street to just south of Warehouse Road.
Railroad Rehabilitation
Seminole Gulf Railway rehabilitated the railroad tracks on Hanson Street and on Old Metro Parkway during this work to minimize disruptions to area businesses.
Re-build & Re-sod
Old Metro Parkway was rebuilt from Hanson Street to just south of Warehouse Road. Minor drainage improvements were made, the road was resurfaced, and the ROW was be re-sodded.
Milling & Resurfacing
Hanson Street, from the railroad tracks to just east of Old Metro Parkway, was milled and resurfaced.
